Cosplay photography at Dragon Con
I'm Jeff Jenkins, a Nashville-based cosplay and creative-portrait photographer. Every Labor Day I bring cinematic, off-camera lighting to Dragon Con in Atlanta and shoot character-driven portraits with cosplayers, makers, and performers.
Planned cosplay sessions in downtown Atlanta
Dragon Con is one of the best cosplay showcases in the country, and it's a fixture on my calendar every year. I plan sessions ahead of the show so the people I work with get real, unrushed time, not a few grabbed shots in a crowded hallway.
My work is built around deliberate, controlled, cinematic lighting and a genuinely collaborative process. Before we shoot, I like to know your character, the costume's build details, and posing ideas (send or bring reference pictures, please). Consent, comfort, and proper credit are part of every session.
Screen-accurate suit or original design, the goal is the same: images that feel true to the character and reflect the work you put into the build.
How a session works
Plan
We lock a time and talk through your character, costume details, and shot list before the con.
Shoot
On-site, I bring the lighting and direction. We work your angles and get the frames you came for.
Deliver
Edited images arrive in a private online gallery you can download in full resolution, typically within about 20 business days.
