Cosplay photos at MTAC
I'm Jeff Jenkins, a Nashville-based cosplay and creative-portrait photographer. MTAC, the Middle Tennessee Anime Convention, is a home-turf show for me, and I try to make it out every year it lines up with my schedule. No formal booking sheet here, just a camera, whoever I find in the halls, and a soft spot for a good AMV blasting in the background.
Tennessee's biggest anime con, run by the fans who love it
MTAC has been going since 1999, and it's grown into Tennessee's largest fan-run convention: over a hundred year-round staff and just as many at-con volunteers, entirely unpaid, entirely because they want the show to exist. It's held at the Sheraton Music City and Embassy Suites Nashville Airport, and between the artist alley, the cosplay contest, the ramen eating contest, and a rave that runs way later than it should, there's no shortage of things to point a camera at.
I don't run a major pre-booked session campaign for MTAC, this is a local show I attend the same way most other people do, badge on, camera in hand. If I see a build that stops me in the hallway or outside on the deck area, I'll ask. Bring reference pics if you've got a specific shot in mind, but plenty of my favorite frames from this con started as a five-minute conversation outside on the patio steps.

Say hi
Message me ahead of time and let me know you're going and want to coordinate a time, or just flag me down on the floor.
Grab a few photos
If schedules line up, we'll find a decent spot in the hotel and get a couple of photos.
I'll send them over
Whatever we get, be sure to send me a DM on Instagram, let me know it was you, what your email address is, and what cosplay you were in. When I finish editing, I'll send you a link to download them.
Say hello at MTAC
I'm not running a formal booking schedule at MTAC, I'm there as a local, same as most of the crowd. If you'd like a real shot at grabbing a few photos by me, leave your email below and tell me who you're bringing to life, or just catch up with me at the show.
